Fort de Dailly T2

Lavey-Morcles

At the foot of the Dent de Morcles, in an enchanting landscape, with its two kilometers of TOP SECRET tunnels open to visitors, the Dailly site is one of the three fortresses of modern Switzerland.

Guided tours allow visitors to learn more about the lives of soldiers during the Cold War. The 15 cm and 10.5 cm cannons covered the St. Bernard and Simplon axes with their fire. The Dailly site is symbolic of the development of contemporary Swiss fortifications from 1892 to the present day. It still contains traces of the outer defenses in a naturally preserved area.

For groups and by prior arrangement, Colonel Roesti will welcome you to a meal in the underground dining room.
