From Saint-Maurice railway station, catch the bus to the Lavey Baths (Bains de Lavey) and enter an oasis of well-being. Tapped at a depth of more than 600 m (1968 feet), the water from this thermal source is the hottest in Switzerland (70°C). A few kilometres away, you can plunge into the fascinating world of the Salt Mines of Bex, in the heart of the salty mountain. 

Elsewhere in the region, the marvellous Trient Gorge, the Adventure Labyrinth in Evionnaz, Aigle Castle, the extraordinary exhibitions of the Giannada Foundation in Martigny and Le Bouveret Aquaparc provide many more tourist attractions to please young and old alike.
