"Evolué", de Kody
Kody, a highly successful comedian and TV presenter in Belgium - where he fills zeniths - has been touring France for the past year. His show deals with original subjects and goes beyond the usual framework.
The artist, on a quest for evolution, admits that he doesn't know himself completely. To remedy this, he invites the audience to join him on a journey through his memories and dreams, where zany characters he has met throughout his life come together.
From Congolese pastors 2.0 to Congolese rumba and trap stars, from the movie stars of his childhood to American comedy clubs, from his diplomat father to the remnants of colonization...
Between bursts of laughter and bursts of life, Kody propels you into a world where the past whispers to the future and every moment reinvents reality.
