Tell me about love

It's midnight, the hour of truths, the hour "He" and "She" have chosen to settle their accounts. An argument breaks out, and not just any argument, but one that pits two partners who have known each other inside out for over thirty years against each other, as if in a real boxing match.
Everything comes into play: children, love affairs, parents, ambition, lies and truths. The exchanges between the spouses are incisive, sometimes irresistibly funny, sometimes heartbreaking. But behind the comedy and excess, tenderness and love are never far away...

In this play, Philippe Claudel, President of the Académie Goncourt, paints a jubilant picture of our society, inviting the audience into a domestic scene where all the dirty tricks are allowed.
Nicolas Briançon, director of such successful plays as "Antigone", "Jacques et son maître" and, most recently, "Le canard à l'orange", takes up the challenge of provoking laughter with our own intimate tragedies.

The play, starring Michel Leeb and Marie Anne Chazel, will be performed at the Théâtre du Martolet on Tuesday December 2 at 8:30pm.
